Free2Roam Queue Buster - where customers are free to roam even when in a queue.

Waiting in a queue is a waste of a consumer's tme and a lost of profit to a business. Free2Roam lets the consumer use their mobile phones ( via SMS or Interactive Voice Response,IVR ) to hold their spots in line while they are free to roam. An average person spends over 2 waking years of his/her life waiting in queues. My system will keep track and remind them of their wait time. The customer can ask for more time if they are busy or to leave the queue. On a bigger picture, Free2Roam is a digital community which covers F&B, lifestyles and entertainment. This community will be linked with an application on Facebook to drive more traffic and eventually will be a gold mine for advertisers to target their desired audience. Ultimately, Free2Roam will be a Brand for what's hot and what's not!
1. Freedom to roam - Free2Roam send voice calls or SMS to the customers' mobile phones, so they are free to roam as far as their mobile takes them. 2. On Demand Update - The customer can call or text for instant update to forecast wait time or number of people ahead of them in the queue. 3. Better Customer Experience - Free2Roam reduces the customer perceived wait time even if their actual wait time doesn't change at all. When customers are anxious, their waits feel longer. Waiting feels even longer when the duration is uncertain or unexplained. Free2Roam completely removes their anxiety by providing them with on-demand status. They will love us for it! 4. A wealth of customer data - Free2Roam provides comprehensive reports such as a) Which days the customers are waiting longest and how long did they wait? b) When customers are coming back, are they bringing their friends? c) Are your customers first timers or regulars? d) Are you getting more return customers or fewer? 5. Ease of Use - The merchants can view their customer line real-time from a web browser. Each time the customers are attended to, they need to remove them from the line by clicking on the browser. As for each merchant to use Free2Roam, there is an initial setup fee of RM1,000. Every booking by the customer will be charged RM2. Each SMS alert will be charged RM0.50 and every voice call will be charged RM0.50 per min. Why I pick this pricing range is because this is Industry standard (for a content provider,CP ) and something affordable.
Assuming for 1 restaurant on a busy weekend, Each booking will cost RM2 and there are 20 bookings, RM20x2= RM40. 1 SMS booking requires 3 SMS alerts, RM0.50x3 = RM1.50 while 1 voice booking requires voice call of 3 minute, RM0.50x3 = RM1.50. Assuming there are 10 cases of SMS booking and 10 cases of voice booking, 10xRM1.50 + 10xRM1.50 = RM30. Total charges for 1 restaurant is RM40 + RM30 = RM70 per day. In case the restaurant only use 3 days a week, RM70x3 = RM210 and in 1 month the total charges is RM210x4 = RM840. For a start, 1st month there are 2 restaurants, 2nd month 4 restarants and 3rd month 6 restaurants, total revenues for first 3 months will be RM840 x (2x3 + 4x2 + 6x1) + RM12,000 = RM28,800. If subsequently 5 new restaurants are added per month then for the next 9 months revenues will be RM840 x (12x9 + 5x9 + 5x8 + 5x7 + 5x6 + 5x5 + 5x4 + 5x3 + 5x2 + 5x1) + RM45,000 = RM324,720 (total revenues for 1st year) Assuming the number of restaurants double every year, then revenues for 2nd year is RM649,440 and third year will be RM1,298,889. This is not inclusive other alternative revenue streams.( Listing & Mobile Advertisement) As for the costing: It'll take 3 developers for six months to develop the system: RM10,000 x 6 = RM60,000 Total Hardware/Software and Hosting fee: RM40,000 Total initial costs = RM100,000 Next, will require 2 sales executives to market this products: RM3,000 x 2 = RM6,000 per month
